Section 5: Construction, operation and decommissioning
Subject to consent being granted, the earliest we expect construction to start is 2029, with a construction period of up to 36 months. The project is expected to have an operational lifetime of 50 years.
For more information on the construction, operation and decommissioning of the project, please refer to pages 20-21 of the information booklet.

Section 6: Local environment
Mylen Leah Solar Farm is classified as an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) development, which means we are required to assess the likely environmental effects of the project.
More information on the process, and on where to find our surveys and assessments, can be found on pages 16-21 of the information booklet.
6b. Please tell us the reason for your answer to question 6a.

Section 7: Community benefits
Statkraft is proposing a community benefit fund for the operational lifetime of Mylen Leah Solar Farm. The fund would be independently administered, with grant decisions made by a local panel of community representatives, and could support community and environmental projects in the parishes closest to the project. More information about this can be found on page 19 of the information booklet.
7. What are your views on the proposed community benefit fund, and are there any local projects or priorities you think it should support?
